If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of Kuta beach in Bali, this is another favorite white sand beach in South Bali that is still natural and beautiful. The beach is very nice and spacious but to reach it takes a struggle. Its name is Nyang Nyang Beach, located near Pura Luhur Uluwatu in Pecatu Village. The distance is about 25 km from Ngurah Rai Airport.
Nyang Nyang Beach Bali
It used to be quite difficult (before July 2016), there was only a wooden nameplate as a guide to the beach, the road that was passed was still calcareous road. But now there is a big road and a clear signboard .
When on the parking lot already looks blue beach and white sand. After tired about 15 minutes down the stairs finally began to hear the beach waves. Around the pandanus trees and shrubs, began to look broad expanse of grassland and seen on the beautiful cliffs that we along. All the difficulties and fatigue paid off with the beautiful beach atmosphere, natural and calm. Still very rare tourists who come to this place so it seemed to have a private beach. Very long white sand dunes, waves and shoreline with rock mixture can we explore with ease. No buildings on this beach yet. The beach here is white sand and quite long, unlike the Labuhan Sait or Green Bowl beach with short coastline.
The beach is pretty wide there and it’s great for camping, but unfortunately there’s a wooden sign saying it’s forbidden to camp, Hmmm… maybe people are afraid the beach gets dirty. Yet it is god if treated, public facilities equipped and well managed to be a natural tourist area.
How to go to Nyang Nyang Beach?
If you are from Jakarta or Surabaya visiting Bali and want to visit this beautiful beach, Travel time from the Airport approximately half an hour, search south towards Pura Luhur Uluwatu. There is little public transportation, you can rent a motorcycle in Tuban or Kuta, retn taxi, or grabcar. The map of Google map is below. The best time to visit this place is in the morning or in the afternoon, but do not exceed 5:30 pm, because when returning to the top will be tiring and dark of course. Of course do not forget to bring beach equipment, protective lotion from the sun and and also mineral water of course because up and down there really need a struggle. Oh yes here you will not be able to see the sunset because the beach facing south and the west is the cliff path as in Pura Uluwatu. Ok that was my first sharing today. Prepare your backpack, happy traveling.
